horizons

We live in a world full of beauty, and sometimes we simply do not see it.

Every place is made of colours we pass without noticing. The particular shades of a street, the light of a place tied to who we are, the background behind a moment we shared with someone.

horizons holds on to that. A long exposure and a slight, intentional movement of the camera let a place set down its colours in a single image, the chromatic identity of one precise moment.

What was in front of me stops being a thing to recognise and becomes what it was made of underneath. A place reduced to what it is, and kept.
